I think clarity in llbialeng is the first thing that should be changed, and that is a government policy piece. A wine like that 20 Bees label that is 100 per cent Ontario, but not VQA, should be able to say it is 100 per cent Ontario and it should stand out from something that is 70 per cent foreign. Next would be expanded distribution channels. With its restricted access and high overhead, the LCBO is out of reach of many smaller Ontario wineries, and in my experience it's these smaller players who make the best wine. The government did have a good program offering a rebate to Ontario wineries selling through the LCBO, and it opened the variety up considerably. But the government has allowed that program to lapse, and despite promises it would be revived, there has been no public move to do so. Private wine stores have been suggested, which may not be a bad idea, or even allowing the wineries a licence to open an off-site store somewhere. Anything has to be better than the system we have in place now. That Esprit controversy was a good one. The latest to stick in my craw is that an Australian wine (Wolf Blass) is the official wine of the Canadian Open. That shocks me, especially when you consider that a tour golfer, Mike Weir, has his own winery.

Liz is not just ANY page turner. Liz is the Heifetz, the Pavarotti, the veritable Yo-Yo Ma of page turners. She is the kind of page turned who, if I was completely fumbling a difficult passage, would suddenly have an uncontrollable puking fit so as to draw attention away from my screwup. She also knows exactly how many pieces of sushi you might need at intermission. At least that's my experience; your mileage may vary One last bit of clothing advice for page turners: No dangly loose jackets. I once played a whole violin recital with silk caressing my left cheek at every turn. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy it, but it was kind of distracting. car insurance qoutes car insurance quotes

Thanks Alexandra. I can see myself getting a lot of use out of this sweater! Bonus points that it's handmade by Nanny and passed down in the family. xo car insurance quotes car insurance

McGuinty and the Liberals are already campaigning and running attack ads. Funny how nobody in the media sribble editorials about how heinous it is to run attack ads outside the writ period. I myself think the PC’s are going about things the right way. Don’t bring up things like electricity rates, E-Health, spending, etc., now, wait for the campaign. Attack McGuinty’s record then, keeping things in voters minds as voting day nears. “As of the writing of this column McGuinty “swelled the size of government by 31% since coming to power and increased the number of civil servants earning $100,000+ from 4,319 to a staggering 42,549. ” That’s very interesting. You see, workers who have suffered permanent workplace injuries and are unable to return to their jobs end up recieving disability pensions through WSIB. Keep in mind that they lose roughly 35% of what they were earning before the injury with the pension. So what does McGuinty do for these injured workers facing hst, skyrocketing hydro, higher insurance premiums, etc. What doe Premier Dad do to look after these workers? Why he approves a .05% increase for 2011 and the same .05% for 2012. To put it in perspective, someone I know received an increase of $6 per month with McGuinty’s approved increase. That doesn’t even cover the hst for hydro. People of Ontario, send Premier Dud (that’s not a typo), packing come this falls election. nexium dosages propecia

They are a beautiful couple, and as Frank's mother, I can truly say that I have watched and observed their love evolve and grow throughout the years. And, you both look absolutely gorgeous. ehhh, i’ve got steaming down well enough these days, wondering about the milk amount for a capp, is it the same, but more foaming? i steam up a bunch of foam(proper-like, not bubbly crap), then i pour equal amounts to the espresso shot, wasteful part here, i pour out a BUNCH of milk. left with my fluffy foam, then i drop that on the top, the result is great i’m told by customers, but it IS slightly wasteful(more than slightly hehe), but looks like a pillow in a cup. haven’t had a complaint yet cialis affordable car insurance

I have shopped at lots of liquor stores, including Alberta, where there is “free market” but have found them to be dismal, catering to the lowest common denominator and stocking only what people think they want. It is terrible!! No selection and only the most “famous” wines. I find the LCBO does a wonderful job in searching out and making available to the uninitiated, many good wines. My local LCBO also employs people who actually drink wine other than Yellow Label reds! I fear that privatizing would lead to more expensive prices for crappy wines and less access to lsser known gems. You are right about the size of a pressing needed to get a wine stocked in the LCBO but I worry about throwing the baby out with the bathwater! Work at gettin g the LCBO to stock smaller wineries in local outlets rather than scrapping the whole thing. Surely they could offer small wineries a limited exposure in a few outlets. I have found most outlets to be manned by knowledgeable people. I found American outlets and especially Albertan (and I am talking about West Edmonton Mall – surely a big one) to stock little variety and lots of dreck!!!Don’t let your frustration on behalf of wineries cloud your vision of working to teach people about wine or our world will shrink to encompass only those with the bucks to advertise widely! car insurance cheap california auto insurance
